FREE/FUN/DESIGN/PLAY/WALKER!

Above: this is just a preview of a seven foot map that you can add to!

We're quite excited for our artlab at the Walker Art Center——part of the Designing Play series. It will be a letraset extravaganza!

It's Free! It's today, April 15th from 6-9! It may just be the thing you need after filing your taxes, maybe?!

Also, Make sure to watch the super-awesome ro/lu video that shows tidbits from their artlab, Landscape Re-Mix.

+++I'm looking forward to this next week.

if I were a toddler

Look at these kiddie clothes from the Teenytini Collection. The balance of colors are perfect! If only they came in adult sizes… another incentive to learn to crochet.
found via my sister.

superior!

We just arrived back from the northshore. The quick report on our trip: We get very high marks for lounging, saunaing, swimming, movie watching and slumbering… The ratio of eating/drinking to physical activity was a bit off——next time more hiking.

more to come.

who's who + coconut bars

Great cover huh! I do love the editor's claim to fames; i think Roland may be friend with Bernie.

I have yet to sample any recipes from the book, but I have read over the 'celebrity' bios. Don Draper, no?!

For a great dinner option

Hamilton Wood Type Museum—the destination of six hour roadtrip that I took with my friend, Harmen, about four years ago. The museum was HUGE and VAST and MOUTHWATERING! oh my, punctuation! oh my, huge characters make me batty!

On wednesday nights I attend letterpress II at Minnesota Center for Book Arts. We had a thorough-triple thorough demo tonight——I'm trying to get into the technical end of things, but all I want to do is sift through the drawers, work on my puzzle and mix the ink.

Oh sweet awesomeness! These are the kind of toys that fill my mom's and sister's studio.
I've taken a liking to nudie doll with the mis-shapened arm.

We ♥ L.S.F.

I've been carving rubberstamps and making potential kit components, which may become something for my new pals at laughing stalk farmstead. They've got a limited print budget, so rubberstamps seem to be the best option for creating the most variations.

spring break

The ice has officially melted off our nearby lake and all surfaces in our house are quite productive. I've got the next week off!

a couple things

This is one of my favorite calling cards. I can't remember meeting Bernie, but I do fancy his card. I've had it for 15 years.

hope you all aren't disappointed with the menu change!
