final week of school!

mini-tags

I made these little sketches/tags two summer's ago during my stay in Estonia. The background scalloped shapies are actually flourescent but for some reason my scanner can't grasp neon pink, green and yellow/the forms are geometric office stickers.

by hand

Mister basketball collage was found sandwiched in an old book (it's super mini-size—about 1.5inches tall). It's one of my alltime favorite finds.

Also a kitty stitched card (front and back).

type + poetry!

Mark Jamra, good pal, from Portland, Maine gifted me these amazing type specimen cards a million years back//from D. Stemple AG. I still oogle over them.

spring fever

My work is keeping me indoors, but outside it's absolutely springy and sunny and I hear birds (even through my closed windows)! I believe there's still ice on our lakes, so no canoeing yet... the good news is, the snow is almost all melted.

tetherball

Seriously, this used to be my favorite "sport" in elementary school; as well as stilts, the nerf pogo-ball, this makeshift board that balanced on a cylinder, lemondrop, sit and spin and pretty much any 'solo' style loser game. Anyhow, i'd be up for a game, but haven't spotted the apparatus anywhere in minneapolis. maybe tetherball was a michigan and estonian thing?

[clipping from an estonian guidebook—ooops, i don't have the title...]
