around mcad

I'm not exactly sure what this is or where it came from or ... maybe it rolled in on a blustery day? It was dusk and it made me do a double take and venture across MCAD's snowy lawn to get a closer look—a monster plastic snowball?
Popcorn! This type resides on Kelly English's
favorite-school-toting box.

Sister Jen!
Wishing you the best day, night and year—Breaking Bonaduce Deutscher Stil! Happy Birthday lovely.

From my cig.cardcollection —"Unsere Bunten Filmbilder" (1935).
There are 275 cards in all. Check out the stars and their fine expressions. Some of my other favorites: #51 + 60 + 235. I think you will enjoy them too.

__bathroom signage from Minnehaha Falls pavillion
__street signage in London (this may seem kind of silly, but it's quite useful for travelers who are accustomed to driving on the otherside of the road).
good morning sunshine!

This is the perfect companion to every wake-up routine. This manual was found on Inspiration is Everything. I've got to cancel class today to hunt for this.

guide books

I am a sucker for reference materials, so these small guide books are amongst my favorites.
If you own some of these, you probably appreciate their usefulness when it comes to identifying a particular species; not to mention the great illustrations, the back covers, the end papers and the sweet compact size. The books shown here were published between 1930-1939 by Whitman Publishin and measure 5.5" X 3.5".

the vain crow

The light is seriously magnificant—if only mcad felt this lovely all the time.
And that brings us to lesson-time from Brothers Grimm——The Vain Crow.

for the white cherrys

Ahhh, The white cherries from Marshall Michigan between the years of 1897–1913 must have been delecttttttable! These first and second place ribbons were awarded by The Calhoun Fair in Marshall Michigan & the Michigan Pomological Society. I love love the typography, the colors and w.cherrys!

inside Pollock's cases

Pollock's Toy Museum is quite dense and dark and the greatest gem EVER! I couldn't get any distance to get the sort of photos I desired; you will have to witness the goodness yourself when you're in London. I really admired the labels and captions that sit in the dioramas and cases. Nothing pretentious / everything perfect.
