to put on hook squeeze lightly with fingers to warm and soften pellet.

I have never seen a bait vending machine—nor could I fathom one this CUTE...
Several varieties to pick from: mixed pellets, white and red maggots and even worms @ 2 pounds. The machine is located at a petrol station and if I remember correctly in the small town of Cherry Hinton (southeast of Cambridge England).

sweets from my garden

My zinnia crop was pretty small this year... at any rate I do love this small sampling! I had to do a mini-harvest, since minnesota had a frost the other night. We had to close the windows it was so chilly.

pearls

Look at these gems!! While my foundation 2-D students were documenting and gathering source materials for their first project—I was sneaking photos inside various markets along nicollet avenue. I had no idea there were so many tapioca varieties as it is one of my all-time favorite desserts.

more from Lihula

Vladimir in the nook.

Lihula Muuseum

Here are a couple photos from an exhibit highlighting Russian ephemera and propaganda at the Lihula Muuseum [in the very small town of Lihula [Estonia]]...
The musuem is housed in an old manor home that was built in the mid 19th century—very rustic, no lighting, no new paint in decades... To really set a mood, there was an old record player blasting scratchy russian march music.
